This option determines if Advanced Wind Estimation correction is made to the wind arrows displayed during Wind Pattern creation including animation. For animation this slows down wind pattern animation considerably however it creates valuable output.

 This option defines the default, or normal, eye diameter size.  It works with the "transition period" option.

This option works with the default eye diameter value.   It defines the number of hours, into the forecast period, that it will take for a storm's non-default eye size to transition to the default size.  The system uses this information to perform forecast wind estimations.
