The first tab allows the user to select the update interval for the active satellite and radar images. Since the system downloads many images, the update period can be from a few minutes’ updates to 15 minutes… depending on internet connection and server speed. The default is every 3 hours but we recommend you vary this based on your system speeds. A selection of 999 will prevent thumbnails from downloading at all… which is a valid option.

You can determine the start and stop times for thumbnail updating via the Hurrtrak Online Timer log (system tray). The thumbnails will not update unless you activate the Hurrtrak Online Timer.
